Just as an airplane flies over a crowded freeway, Sling Broadband's network avoids the "traffic jams" of hard-wired networks to stream high-speed data, voice and Internet services to customers through the air with remarkable simplicity and reliability. Our award-winning network removes the bottle-neck normally associated with traditional routed circuits, providing super-fast Metro Ethernet service connections between multiple locations over a vast metropolitan area.

Sling Metro-Wi provides local area network LAN-to-LAN connectivity between two or more locations within a metro area. The Metro-Wi solution is based on distributed Layer 2 switching and shared transport data bandwidth. The local loop that extends to the customer premises can typically be provided via either fiber or wireless facilities (where available). Service is available in buildings served by disclosed wire centers throughout the Sling Broadband 14-state local service area.
Our innovative, facilities-based network spans across North America with over 25,000 miles of intercity route fiber and more than 9,000 metro wimax miles, we provide service to over 30 major markets and interconnect with over 2,200 other networks.

We maintain very low latency and exceptionally low packet loss 24/7, enabling our customers to realize the full potential of applications like VoIP and video conferencing.
